Ligad Engineering successfully completed a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) project for Lhoist (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd at the Tapah Workshop, with a project value of RM78,000.00. The project involved deploying a qualified NDT team to perform various conventional and advanced NDT methods, including UTTG (Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging), hardness testing, PMI (Positive Material Identification), and DPI/MPI (Dye Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection).
The objective was to detect and characterize defects, evaluate material properties, and verify the structural integrity of components and welds without causing damage. These tests played a crucial role in supporting quality assurance, structural safety, and reliability across industrial applications such as oil & gas, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
